Admission Process

  • The process of admission for the PDM programme starts with an Admissions Notification by the Institute in the newspaper; other print and electronic media; and the website of the Institute. The notification is issued in November for the batch commencing its programme in July 2024.
  • All applications for admission to PDM have to be filled online only and completed as per the instructions provided on the website of the Institute. Applications which are incomplete or not submitted online in time will be rejected, and the Institute will not entertain any request for consideration of such rejected applications. Similarly, the applications of aspirants who do not satisfy the eligibility as specified in the previous page will not be considered, and the Institute will not entertain any request for consideration of such applications. 
  • DMI admissions committee will decide category-wise cut-offs for CAT 2023 / XAT 2024 / MAT (Sep. 2023 or Later) / CMAT 2024 for shortlisting applicants for the admission selection process.
  • Shortlisted Candidates will be called for the selection process at Patna where they will have to go through Assessment of Writing Skills, Group Activity, and Personal Interview.
  • The details of the dates, time, and venue for the admission process will be communicated to the qualifying applicants in the email address and through call / SMS mentioned in the online application.
  • The merit list shall be prepared following the reservation policy applicable to educational institutions in Bihar.
  • The selection process starts by Feb 2024
  • The Admission Office may not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications before the Interview / Selection Process, and all shortlisted applicants are allowed to appear at the Interview / Selection Process on a purely provisional basis, subject to their document verification after the announcement of results. Mere submission of the application form and filling the eligibility criteria do not entitle a candidate to appear for the interviews; / Selection Process. Further merely being allowed to appear at the Interview  / Selection Process will not be considered as a ground for admission to the Post-Graduation Programme in Development Management (2024-26).
